Young Named to Wooden Award Midseason Top 25

The only sophomore to win the Wooden Award, according to ESPN, was Connecticut's Maya Moore in 2009.

Voting will open prior to the start of the NCAA Tournament. The Wooden Award All-American Team will be announced the week of the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Wooden Award for women's basketball was first given for the 2003-04 season. Gustafson is a junior forward for the 17th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for youth, and free for UI students.
