WWE Superstar Reportedly Told To Retire At 25

We have been told by multiple sources she is "done" as an in-ring wrestler.

Paige, 25, has been out of action since sustaining an injury at a RAW live event at the Nassau Coliseum in late December. Nearly immediately, the trio was clicking, feuding with Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mickie James. She was kicked in the back by Sasha Banks and struggled to get back to her feet after the bump. The match was stopped and a stretcher was brought out, though she eventually was able to walk out on her own power.

Per the report, Paige was informed Monday at Raw that she will not be cleared to return to the ring. After being away from the WWE for almost 18 months due to a string of suspensions, surgeries and public scandals, she finally returned to the ring on the November 20 episode of Monday Night Raw, introducing the new faction Absolution alongside Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Paige experienced something called a "stinger" which is when you temporarily lose feelings in your limbs.

She then underwent neck surgery before being axed for 60 days for violating the wellness policy again in October 2016. She started in her family's World Association of Wrestling (WAW) when she was only 13 years old and by 19 was touring North America, working for SHIMMER.

Born to a pair of British pro wrestlers, Paige has been involved in the professional wrestling business nearly all her life.

WWE pulled her from the ring and set up further testing that led to this week's decision.

She had been slated to take part in WWE's first ever women's Royal Rumble match later this month, but has obviously been pulled from the show.

She became the youngest Divas Champion in history and won the title for a second time in August that year.

Paige finally made her return to WWE a few weeks ago after spending over a year sitting on the sidelines.
