Ryan Seacrest attends New Year's Eve 2017 in Times Square, Dec. 31, 2016, in New York City.

Watch Mariah Carey on New Year's Rockin' Eve last year.

To kick things off, Cuban born singer/songwriter Camila Cabello hit the stage. This will be Ciara's first time back on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve since 2005 when she performed her debut single "Goodies". Cabello's newest song "Havana", was released in August and is now exploding on the charts.

This will be the 46th anniversary of the nation's biggest celebration of the year.

Mariah, 47, has been flaunting her family festivities on social media in the run up to the new year, with the mum-of-two enjoying some down time in Aspen with her dancer boyfriend, Brian Tanaka.

Mariah Carey, who performed during New Year's Eve in Times Square in New York City on December 31, 2016, is set to perform during the same event again this year.

From the New York City location, Sugarland will perform to the Times Square crowds.

But while Carey insisted the snafu was the production's fault, rumors soon swirled that Carey had skipped rehearsal prior to her performance. As of right now we anticipate temperatures somewhere between 15 and 20 degrees Fahrenheit in Times Square tonight (think somewhere between -6 and -10 degrees Celsius), which is going to make everyone pretty cold and potentially miserable. "I think it would be great to continue throughout the year to have more of that feeling".

Others appearing include Kane Brown, BTS, Kelly Clarkson, Fitz and The Tantrums, Khalid, Marshmello, Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth and Portugal. For me there are different rules, I don't know why. Still, that did not stop New Year's Rockin' Eve producers from inviting Carey back to ring in 2018.

The longtime co-hosts are gearing up for their live broadcast.

I doubt many fans of Lombardo and the Royal Canadians knew what a Three Dog Night was in 1973. Harvey plans on "surprise celebrity guests" and "some of the year's top music artists". Joining the live coverage from Times Square will be Kat Timpf and Richard Fowler, with Bryan Llenas reporting on security.
