Giannis Antetokounmpo out of Bounds on Controversial Play vs. Thunder, NBA Says

In the NBA's official Last Two Minute Report from the Bucks win over the Thunder, the National Basketball Association confirmed that Giannis Antetokounmpo did step out of bounds on what eventually was the game-winning shot.

In the report, the National Basketball Association states that the officials made the incorrect call by not calling Giannis Antetokounmpo out-of-bounds on that last shot.

You can clearly see that about his half is out of bounds and you could argue that he traveled on the drive to the hoop too. The six-year National Basketball Association veteran is quietly having his best season since the 2013-14 campaign in which he averaged career-highs in points, rebounds, assists, steals and minutes per game.

The play left the Thunder fuming. It's the very end of the game!

Even though he stepped out of bounds on the play, Giannis Antetokounmpo's basket with 1.3 seconds left counted, and that's all that mattered to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Khris Middleton added 20 as the Bucks wwn their second straight.

It was quite a gut-wrenching way for the Thunder to lose the game and their six-game winning streak. Obviously, he stepped out of bounds. I was trying to ask for a review. "They couldn't review it, but that's something the league has to deal with".

Henson had one of his most efficient outings of the season, scoring 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting to go along with six rebounds and two assists.

"I'm more concerned about the fact that we didn't play well in the first quarter", Donovan said.
