Meghan Markle's father 'extremely hurt' by Prince Harry

However, the actress' budding relationship with Prince Harry is apparently what put an end to her chances, as producers thought she would be unable to continue acting should things get series.

The source continued, "The brief was to find a glamorous rising star, specifically someone American or Canadian".

During the segment, the 33-year-old Prince described Meghan's day with the royal family, saying she had done an "absolutely unbelievable job".

"The royals (with the exception of the Queen) have always been blind to the hypocrisy of wagging their green fingers at us before hopping on to a private jet", Thompson wrote.

And Meghan's brother isn't the only family member who has a word or two for Prince Harry because her half-sister, Samantha Markle, is also not happy with him.

Before the recent remarks made by Prince Harry, Markle's family stated that they were "delighted" for Markle's engagement to the royal Britain.

Harry was slammed, too, for his sycophantic interview with former US President Barack Obama and for picking his own father, the Prince of Wales, as his two top guests.

Thomas Jr. was also upset about the British royal's comments.

Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, is said to be "extremely hurt" by the comments Prince Harry made about his daughter's family. There's always that family part of Christmas (where) there's always that work element there as well, and I think together we had an awesome time.

"Meghan's family has been a little tricky since the couple started dating", she told Inside Edition. "She's done an absolutely unbelievable job", he said on BBC Radio 4 Today. She even curtsied at the same time as Kate Middleton, 35, which is decidedly perfectly ladylike. She was very privileged. She always had this family. There is always that family part of Christmas and there's that work element as well.

"Meg's family (our family) is complete with sister, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the glue of our family, our wonderful completely self-sacrificing father". Marrying merely extends it.
