Huawei's 2018 roadmap leaked, includes four Honor and three P-series phones

Last year's Mate 9 and the past couple of Honor devices have laid the groundwork, but for 2018, Huawei is going after flagships with its Mate 10 Pro, landing this time on an actual carrier.

In Q2, the slide shows that Huawei may launch three P-series smartphones namely P Plus, P and P Lite. Huawei recently confirmed that it will indeed be teaming up with USA carriers to launch handsets. These include the Huawei P20, P20 Plus, and the P20 Lite. These devices are now being referred by their codenames and not the marketing names of the phones.

The three new devices of the Chinese manufacturer having codename as Maya, Salina, and Honor 1, are all set to be released in the second quarter of the year 2018.

A new fitness band with the moniker Huawei A2 is expected to be unveiled in Q1 2018 along with the Huawei 360 Camera, Huawei Scale and Huawei B618 wireless router. The source says that Huawei CEO Rami Hazan told people attending an event at the company's importer Israel Alpha Telecom, that the next device will indeed be called the P20 and it will launch at the beginning of 2018.

Huawei has been on a mission for the past several years to bring its devices to the U.S. market, and specifically to bring them to the mainstream market.

As we mentioned, Israeli website Gadgety reported on Tuesday that Huawei has plans to unveil the Huawei P20 flagship series in 2018. The company is likely to launch the P20 at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC), which kicks off in February next year.

Moving onto the third quarter of the next year, it looks like the company has chose to keep it barren except for the launch of the third Honor smartphone.
