Records were shattered in Erie, Pennsylvania, when 34 inches of snow fell on Christmas Day, making it Erie's snowiest December 25 on record.

The National Weather Service office in Cleveland said Monday's storm brought 34ins of snow, an all-time daily snowfall record for Erie. It's headed for the East Coast Sunday night to dump more through midday on Christmas.

Wind chill advisories or warnings are in effect for all of North Dakota and Wisconsin, as well as swaths of South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan and Indiana.

Most of IN was under winter weather advisory with officials urging motorists to stay put unless they absolutely had to travel.

At Toledo Express Airport, departures and arrivals were delayed during the late afternoon and early evening.

A 73 miles per hour wind gust was reported in Falmouth and a 66 miles per hour gust was felt on Nantucket. Valley locations can expect to see 2-4 inches of snowfall, and areas above 4500 ft may see up to 6 inches. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Other areas saw between 3 and 4 inches of fluffy white snow.

The advisory starts at 5AM Christmas morning, but snow may start in portions of western Montana by midnight.
