Arsene Wenger disastrous decision on Alexis Sanchez slammed

Arsene Wenger has hinted that Arsenal will only dip into the January transfer market if they are able to find some top quality additions.

City will only move for Sanchez in next month's transfer window unless circumstances absolutely demand it and prefer instead to wait until the summer to sign the Chilean, with Guardiola anxious about unsettling the attacking balance in his team and dressing room harmony in pursuit of the Premier League title.

Since Andrey Arshavin arrived for £15m in January of 2009, Wenger has signed only three players to make any kind of mark on his first team - Mohamed Elneny, Gabriel Paulista and Nacho Monreal. And it looks like he will do the same again this time around after claiming his squad will "90% be the same".

The north London side have not been able to find much consistent form this season, with Wenger's men now fifth in the table and 19 points behind leaders Manchester City after 18 games.

"But I've got the same attitude with all player who don't want to be at Arsenal and wear that cannon the badge and chest and that's I'll drive you to the airport to go to their new club".

Wenger added: "We need just to stick together and fight as we can until the end of the season".

"The players in the dressing room are the ones who know and they are the ones to ask because they will see Alexis Sanchez on a daily basis and know whether he is in or out".

Deals for both players are sitting on the table, but both players are refusing to sign up.
