Arsenal boss Wenger enjoys Mourinho dig: I never understood parking bus

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is admitting that his side will have a hard time figuring out how to stop Liverpool's many attacking options.

The 25-year-old midfielder was handed his first Premier League start of the season by Arsene Wenger earlier in December - and he's on the way to making himself undroppable.

And Wenger says his side were naive and frozen in the first half against Liverpool, adding he's proud of their second half performance.

But Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil struck in five second-half minutes to give Arsenal into an unlikely lead, only for Roberto Firmino to level for the visitors.

"You know Jack, he is never frozen as always". Yes, I like what he did.

"He is better now than in the last two or three years".

"On Saturday [against Newcastle], we played with four players who have been educated here: Iwobi, Wilshere, Maitland-Niles and Bellerin", Wenger told club website.

"I think he is positive overall and is in a very good shape at the moment".

"We are certainly the only ones at the top [doing that] but basically we want to keep these players".

Arsene Wenger has still not initiated contract extension talks with Jack Wilshere despite the Englishman's current deal running out this summer, and Le Prof has previously stated that he wanted our Jack to prove his ability to play for extended periods in pressure situations.

"In the second half we were not so much in trouble but they have quality everywhere".

"It was down to a psychological factor and there was a bearing to the Manchester United game when we had a bad start".
