Mariah Carey's hit song 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' has now reached Billboard Top 10; #9 to be exact. The catchy track previously peaked at No. 11. The song dashes from No. 11 to No. 9 on the chart dated December 23, as the modern holiday classic reaches the Hot 100's top 10 at last, over 23 years after its 1994 release.

One achievement has proven elusive over its time in the market, however: a Top 10 position on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard explains that when "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was first released, way back in 1994, it wasn't commercially available as a single, and the rules back then prohibited it from charting on the Hot 100.

In 2012, when Hot 100 added streaming to its formula, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" began a new annual tradition of hitting the Hot 100.

Others in this year's TOP 10 include runner-up JUSTIN BIEBER and RADIANT, three separate tracks from PENTATONIX along with JAKE PAUL, SIA, ADRIANA GRANDE and WHAM! With Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé's ideal at No. 1, The song has come to No. 9 on the chart. Billboard announced it had soared into the top 10 and landed at the ninth spot for the first time in its history.
