'The Punisher' is Renewed for Season Two by Netflix

One of the most interesting aspects of the show is not actually the wonderful fight choreography and action, but the question asked of the viewer: Is the The Punisher a hero?

Marvel's The Punisher is now streaming.

It's hard to say at this point when we'll see the next "Punisher" season, though Netflix will no doubt provide an official launch date at some point in the coming months. Though Marvel TV and Netflix haven't specified when exactly the series will return for its second season, it's good to hear that the next batch of gritty Punisher episodes has been green-lit. They made us wait weeks before announcing the second seasons of Daredevil or Jessica Jones, for example.

The clip shows the cast talking about the motivations behind each of the main characters on the Netflix series.

One thing we do know is that the producers behind the project (spearheaded by Steve Lightfoot from Hannibal as showrunner and including Jim Chory from Netflix's other Marvel products) have put a lot behind the project.

Marvel's The Punisher: After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York's criminal underworld.

Season one stars Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, Baby Driver) as Frank Castle, Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls, The Lake House) as David Lieberman, and Deborah Ann Woll (Marvel's Daredevil, True Blood) as Karen Page. "Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone".
