This season marks the first time that the Eagles have won the division crown since 2013 when the team finished 10-6, but fell to the New Orleans Saints on Wild Card Weekend at Lincoln Financial Field.

Wentz apparently suffered a knee injury while trying to make a touchdown run in the third quarter. He remained in the game, and threw a touchdown pass to Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey.

Wentz left the game in the second half after injuring his knee by getting hit by two Rams defenders while diving into the endzone. With that in mind, Fox Sports is pulling out all the stops, putting its top broadcast team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call along with plans for the Fox NFL Sunday crew to be on site at the Coliseum for pregame coverage. She also said that while the severity of the injury was not yet known, "as I was standing back by that Eagles locker room, all that support staff that was with Carson Wentz was just shaking their heads".

Down in the red zone for Philadelphia, Celek drew a pass interference call before he caught a 5-yard touchdown from Wentz to knot the game at 7-7.

They lost against the Seahawks in Week 13, and are down 35-31 against the Rams early in the fourth quarter. Nick Foltz came in the game for the Eagles to replace Wentz.
