Amazon Music Unlimited Is Now Available In 28 New Markets

In comparison, Spotify now has 140 million monthly users, 50 million of which are paying for a monthly subscription.

Google wants a piece of the pie that Spotify and Apple Music are now enjoying.

Amazon also said Friday its Music Unlimited subscription streaming service is available in 28 additional countries.

If we go back and talk about other services, Google has launched many subscriptions in the past. There's Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and even Google's own option, Google Play Music.

Earlier this year the teams behind Google Play Music and YouTube were merged, with hopes to streamline the lacklustre performance of the two individual services against giants Spotify and Apple Music.

Google, another service from Alphabet introduced Google Play Music as a streaming service in 2011.

Overall, the Prime Video layout is relatively decent, although some users are experiencing issues with 5.1 surround sound and only getting 2.1 audio.

The report suggests that YouTube is calling this service as "Remix", and it will also include an on-demand streaming feature with YouTube elements like video clips just like Spotify.

According to Bloomberg, the company has already signed up Warner Music Group and is in talks with Sony and Universal Music. Further, you can access the service on the web, iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Echo devices, and FireTV. YouTube has already been contacting artists for help promoting the service.

The Echo line-up of smart speakers from Amazon allow the consumers play music, make calls, set alarms and timers, ask questions, control smart home devices, and more by using just their voice. This service added ad-free video content to users.
