According to the chart, there's a 53 percent chance of greater than.1 inch of snow.

We are going to see temperatures moderate some early in the week, but our next cold front looks to bring our next shot of much colder air into the state by midweek. We've had a few reports of sleet Thursday afternoon, but it has been mainly rain so far in the forecast. However, temperatures will go back below freezing rather quickly tomorrow night, and any lingering water on roads could freeze. This could cause issues with black ice if there is standing moisture on the roads.
REMEMBER: With nearly every winter weather event in Alabama, there is a surprise or two. Most of the rain has remained south of I-20 with temperatures in the 40s.
In the meantime, expect mostly clear skies Thursday, with a high near 46 degrees, it said.
