It was originally thought that there could be leftover showers on Wednesday, but now it's looking like the rain will clear out with plenty of time before sunrise on Wednesday, so I'm taking away the rain chances of Wednesday. Due to the cloud cover and cooling showers, temperatures aren't going to budge much, hovering in the low to mid 40s this afternoon, possibly upper 30s in some spots.

Saturday: Cloudy, chance for snow showers. The showers will end late Friday afternoon. There may be some clearing late in the day, but the bulk of the clearing will take place overnight and that will set us up for a very nice day on Thursday. As the winds pick up and gradually shift to a westerly then northerly direction they will initially shuffle out the clouds for some sunshine on Wednesday and then start funneling in colder air. A strong cold front will bring widespread rain throughout this morning.
Even colder air will move in later this week.

Be prepared for a wet, windy, and rather cool Tuesday!
Several disturbances will rotate around the deep trough of low pressure over the Eastern United States. Energy will spill into the trough and then track up the East Coast. However, we'll have to watch the forecast closely.
Beyond Monday and through the middle of December, the weather pattern will be volatile with several outbreaks of cold air and also several chances for snow. While temperatures will be cooler in the 30s, the more significant Arctic cold will wait until next week likely arriving somewhere around December 13.
Sunday looks chilly and sunny, with a high of 62.
