Penn State is a flawless 6-0 in the Fiesta Bowl.

The Nittany Lions and Huskies both finished 10-2 and will meet at University of Phoenix Stadium on December 30. They earned the final New Years Six bowl bid by virtue of finishing No. 11 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Washington: First appearance in the Fiesta Bowl, 38th bowl appearance in school history. "We can't wait to see our Penn State family descend on Valley of the Sun to passionately support their Nittany Lions!"

Fiesta Bowl tickets can be purchased here. That game was played at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz. Four Nittany Lions scored in double figures, with leading scorer Lamar Stevens adding two free throws with four seconds left for a total of 22 points.

Penn State has promoted Ricky Rahne to offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach to replace Joe Moorhead, who left the Nittany Lions to become head coach at Mississippi State.

It will be Washington's first appearance in the Fiesta Bowl, but coach Chris Peterson led Boise State to an upset victory against Oklahoma after the 2006 season.
