Netflix Gives Stranger Things A Season 3 Renewal For The Holidays

It appears to be one of the streaming service's most popular shows. We didn't want to box ourselves in for season three.

We're barely over season two of Stranger Things but the lovely people have Netflix have already confirmed there'll be a season three coming to our screens soon. Sure, things ended on-spoiler warning-a positive note at the Snow Ball, but we have a feeling the crew isn't finished with the mysteries of the Upside Down just yet.

No release date has been announced, but we imagine a similar release pattern to Stranger Things 2 will make sense for season 3 too. The second season of "Stranger Things" has been available to stream via Netflix since October 27. "Hold on to your nail bats, Season 3 is officially happening".

"We have an end game", Ross said.

There are plans to create a third season of the supernatural drama, with creators The Duffer brothers preparing to write the continuation of the plotline that has had the world gripped.

We were introduced to Kali, another child experimented on at the Hawkins Lab, this season on Stranger Things.

Season two brought a few new faces to the mix, including Paul Reiser from "Aliens" and Sean Astin of "Lord of the Rings" and "The Goonies". But it's still great to have the next season set in stone, even if we know very little about where it's headed. But it's clearly obvious Netflix knows what a big hit the show is so we can expect it to return likely in the fall of 2018 (that's my guess anyway).
