With former champion Ronda Rousey still inactive, and possibly retired, Justino-Holm is easily the biggest fight to make in women's mixed martial arts. That fight also ended with fireworks and drew 1,109,000 viewers, making it the most-watched FOX Fight Night or TUF finals show ever headlined by a women's fight. A win over Justino would reignite her career and put her back in the spotlight.

Cris "Cyborg" Justino, left, reacts to her technical knockout win against Tonya Evinger in the women's featherweight title bout during UFC 214 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

With less than six weeks to go until the event, UFC officials were scrambling to find a title fight to place on the year end card with options including a welterweight title fight between Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz. She followed that up losing three fights in a row before knocking out Bethe Correia in June.
