Eve Officially Joins 'The Talk' on CBS

"Today is a very big day for us here at The Talk", Julie Chen began, before introducing Eve to audience members and viewers at home.

The table on CBS' "The Talk" is shaking up once again.

Rapper Eve has been named the new co-host of daytime show The Talk.

She made her official debut Tuesday, after appearing as guest co-host during the week of October 13. "The great success of THE TALK is due to the undeniable chemistry and bond of friendship between the hosts". She'll continue to appear as a series regular on CBS' "Criminal Minds" as well as hosting The CW's revival of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?".

"The women were thrilled when they heard Eve would be joining the show and can't wait to start talking and engaging her in the conversation", McDaniel told Variety. She also does a voice on the FX comedy "Archer". "These women made me feel fearless, they made me feel bold and energized and ready to pursue my dreams".

Tyler's departure was an emotional one, with Sharon Osbourne wishing her well while denying her exit was made on bad terms.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, The Talk's previous co-host Aisha Tyler left the show in early August 2017, in an effort to pursue other creative projects.

On Tuesday, CBS announced that the Grammy Award victor will join Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood as a new full-time host. "I'm kind of quiet on social media, so this is a fun way for me to be expressive and show people who I am right now". "I'm just in a place in my life where I was looking for a platform to express myself", she told Variety.
