Four people shot, 2 killed in shooting during Cousin Stizz concert


Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened during a concert at The Masquerade in Underground Atlanta.

Atlanta police first responded to reports of one person being shot at the venue, now located inside the Underground Atlanta entertainment district after moving from its original location on North Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward.

Two people have been killed and another two are injured after a shooting at an Atlanta nightclub. The ongoing investigation suggests that the two victims had climbed onto the venue's stage between sets. It is believed an argument broke out in the crowd, and the dispute led to the shooting.

Authorities say a shooting at a concert in downtown Atlanta has left two people dead and two people wounded. The gunmen unhesitantly hauled his pistol and shot the individuals who went on stage, eventually firing at the ground, hitting two bystanders in the ankle and foot.

The other two were taken to hospital and are expected to make a full recovery. "I've always called my shows family reunions, because they're never anything but fun, safe, good vibes and positivity", the LA-based rapper wrote. Police are still seeking the suspect and asking for witnesses to come forward.

Cousin Stizz, who was the headliner for the Masquerade concert is "completely heartbroken" over the acts of "senseless violence" that took place prior to his performance. "My thoughts and prayers to out to the victims and their families".
