GARETH BALE IS facing up to a month on the sidelines after Real Madrid confirmed another injury setback for the Wales worldwide. The Welshman suffered yet another injury in training which rules him out of the Madrid derby in the coming week.

As patience wears thin in Madrid, the potential for a return to England's Premier League, where Bale was twice Players' Player of the Year with Spurs, remains a strong possibility. After a blistering start to his career with Los Blancos, Bale's career has seen a decline, due to his several minor injuries and some major ones as well. Since his world-record £85m move to the Bernabeu in 2013, he has played only 159 times.

For a long time untouchable, the "BBC" front three of Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo haven't played a single minute together so far this season.

"Gareth has been injured for a long time", Madrid attacker Isco said before Spain's worldwide friendly against Costa Rica on Saturday.

Gareth Bale's injuries have limited his appearances this season.

The 29-year-old also said his past experience with Barcelona's rival club Real Madrid would not have stopped him from joining the side.

Bale's time in Madrid has not been short of success.
