"I feel like she is like the Madonna of the hip-hop world to me".

Over the course of the year, Remy Ma has been slowly making her way back to the forefront of hip hop.

Remy Ma continues her winning streak with a new swaggering, Lil' Kim-assisted track called "Wake Me Up", the first off her forthcoming album, 7 Winters & 6 Summers.

"I wanted to pay homage to Kim", Remy said.

On the track, Remy pays homage to the Queen Bee, who provides the catchy hook over the hypnotic, piano-led instrumental (which is a guaranteed neck-breaker.) The beat comes courtesy of Cool And Dre, Smitty Beatz and 808 Ray and features the classic Roberta Flack sample used on Lil Kim's 1996 classic, "Queen B*tch".

Listen to Wake Me Up (below) and let us know if you think they're dissing Nicki! "If I heard a Remy Ma and Lil' Kim record, I want Remy Ma to be the Remy Ma that Big Pun met, and I want Lil' Kim to be the Lil' Kim that B.I.G. met".

Still, everything is up for interpretation, and Remy made it clear during the interview that she's done beefing with Nicki, remarking, "I'm so over that".

The album will be her first full-length solo album after spending time incarcerated in upstate NY and focuses on her life at large, according to a press release. It is an incredible album detailing Remy's story. "Remy is a true hip-hop Icon and we are beyond excited to share her music, and her vision, with the world".
