Airtel broadband customers can now carry forward unused data

India's leading telecom operator, Bharti Airtel on Tuesday launched the "Data Rollover" facility for its home broadband customers that will allow users to carry forward all unused monthly data and add to the data benefit of the next billing cycle. Moreover, Airtel also offers handset device protection to customers for their smartphones which secures them from physical damage and malware. They can easily track their usage and remaining data available on the MyAirtel App. The Airtel data rollover facility for postpaid mobile users was introduced in July this year as part of the company's Project Next initiative, and came into effect from August.

Airtel customers can now enjoy Unlimited Free Outgoing Calls on National Roaming to go with Unlimited Local + STD calls and 20 GB 4G/3G data at just Rs 499 per month with Infinity Postpaid. Airtel's refreshed offers come after Vodafone announced Vodafone RED national and global postpaid plans on Tuesday. Customers also get free subscription to Wynk Music that offers close to 3 million songs and Airtel TV that offers LIVE TV and thousands of popular shows and movies, according to an Airtel statement.

In a press release, Airtel said that since the idea is to avoid 'zero wastage' of internet data, the user can collect upto 1000 GB of data.

It was Airtel who first introduced the concept of data rollover for their postpaid subscribers.

"At Airtel, our constant endeavour is to deliver best-in-class service experience and great value to our customers". In this feature, the unused data of a completed billing cycle is carried forward and added to the next billing cycle.
