The bundled plan which is valid for 28 days included 1GB per day 4G/3G data along with free subscription of Vodafone Play. It also offers 100 SMS per day and 60GB data without any daily FUP.

Hours after we reported about Idea Cellular announcing a brand new plan to counter the onslaught of Jio, we now have reports coming in of Airtel updating one of its older plans to offer more data for the same price. The Rs 399 plan of the 2nd largest telecom operator of the country provides unlimited STD and local calling as well as 90 GB data for a time of 6 Months from the time of the recharge. In essence, subscribers who make the recharge from web or via Idea's in-house app will be eligible for unlimited voice (local and STD) calling and 2GB with a validity of 28 days should they opt for the Rs 179 plan.
Idea Cellular offers unlimited data for 70 days with a daily FUP of 1GB for a recharge of Rs 449. Once the limit is exhausted, then users will be charged 30 paise per minute.
Airtel also recently indicated that it plans to upgrade its network to support 4G in the next 304 years and will gradually shut down its 3G services. Those with non-4G handsets can opt for Rs 357 plan to avail the same benefits.
