The All-New 2018 Jeep Wrangler Debuts Online

Decidedly a treat: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles took the wraps off its new 2018 Jeep Wrangler on Halloween and showcased a horde of Mopar custom parts that'll be available for the iconic off-road machine.

And in case you haven't noticed, it looks essentially the same as the current Jeep Wrangler.

Jeep did not reveal any further details about the Wrangler but a user manual, which leaked online earlier this month, has previously revealed some details about the machine's powertrain options.

Love it or hate it, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is finally here. In the images are both three- and five-door models and the five-door appears to be wearing the "Sahara" badge while the three-door carries the trail-rated Rubicon name. The images show two different Wranglers.

According to Jeep, the new Wrangler will feature more safety features and more advanced technology while "staying true" to the brand's origins.

The all-new Wrangler has been designed with a boxy shape and upright grille with round headlights.

Under the bonnet, there's either a 2.0-litre four-cylinder or 3.6-litre V6 engine; the current car's 2.8-litre powerplant has been dropped, at least from the US-specification auto.

The reveal of the new Wrangler coincides with this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas and saw Mopar tease its new range of products for the Wrangler.

Never before has a Mopar roof rack been released specifically for the Jeep Wrangler; this one has plenty of space for gear that does not fit inside.

The company released few details about the new Wrangler, saying that it would reveal comprehensive information and officially introduce the vehicle at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 29.
