Premier League champions Chelsea ended a poor run of results with a League Cup win over Everton sandwiched between league wins over Watford and Bournemouth.

The Belgian missed Chelsea's first three games of the season after undergoing surgery on his broken ankle in the summer and did not start a game in the Premier League until the end of September.

Hazard hinted Courtois was becoming frustrated with the way Chelsea had been slipping goals.

He told Chelsea TV: 'Yeah for sure [back to full fitness], definitely.

Chelsea have been in good form in the Champions League so far this season, winning two and drawing one of their opening three group games.

And Antonio Conte was full of praise for the match victor and said: "Eden now is in a good physical condition and don't forget we started this season with a lot of problems". They are top and play well with a lot of goals...but we have a lot of games to play, we will see at the end of the season.

'We want to keep the confidence high and for this we have to win every game.

Hazard was once again in superb form for Antonio Conte's men on Saturday evening as he fired the Blues to a vital 1-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Now we go Tuesday to Roma to win the game and be ready for the game after'.

However, the west Londoners are yet to reach the dizzying heights of last season and with City already so far ahead some have questioned whether they can force their way back in the title race.

"It's a massive win, massive", he added.

"We created a lot of chances...we didn't score, that's the problem, but we have three points and we move on. So we did, I did, and it's important because we won".
