Is Wilshere needed to put fight back into Arsenal XI?

After impressing in Thursday's 1-0 win in Belgrade, Arsenal fans are calling for Jack Wilshere to start - Wenger has promised that the 25 year-old will soon receive his opportunity.

The midfielder is tipped to start Arsenal's UEFA Europa League clash tonight against Red Star Belgrade to help maintain their flawless start in the competition.

Deeney has already come out with comments blasting the Gunners for not wanting it enough, and saying that they had no balls, but now it seems off the air he went one step further, although to keep his confidence, Keown stopped short of saying just who was the issue.

And plenty were praising him on social media for his performance.

As a player if you're attitude is questioned, it's awful, I look around this team and you can't question our character.

"I know who my players are", the Frenchman said. Overall I think that sums it up well.

'Welbeck is out. He has a groin problem, I think it will be two to three weeks before he is back.

"When we look back at the game we look back at ourselves and what we did wrong".

"I am sure individually players are disappointed - no one wants to hear those comments".

"That's part of the modern-day game and we have to deal with that".

The 25-year-old played an integral part in Arsenal's victory amid the hostile surroundings of the Ratjko Mitic Stadium, once again proving that he's ready to play regularly for Arsenal in the Premier League and not exclusively figure in the European competition which has been used to give fringe players a first team opportunity.

Wilshere is at his best in advanced central areas, as he played against Red Star as the left of the two number 10s in Arsenal's 3-4-3, a tactical system introduced to help stabilise the defence and create two positions behind the central striker.
