KFC follows 6 men named Herb and 5 of the Spice Girls on Twitter.

It also follows Herb Scribner, Herb J. Wesson Jr., Herb Waters, Herb Dean, Herb Sendek and Herb Alpert, or, six Herbs.

Those would be the five Spice Girls - Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton - and five other men called Herb.

If that isn't marketing genius, then we don't know what is! "Whoever is in charge of this needs a raise", tweeted another. In 2016, the Chicago Tribune reported a relative of Colonel Sanders by marriage found the secret recipe hidden inside an envelope buried in a scrapbook.

KFC tells The Associated Press it has been following the 11 Herbs and Spices for about a month.

It was supposedly revealed to the public previous year after a nephew of KFC's founder, Colonel Sanders, found a recipe for the mix in an old scrapbook belonging to the Colonel's second wife.

The Tribune listed the 11 ingredients as salt, thyme, basil, oregano, celery salt, black pepper, dried mustard, paprika, garlic salt, ground ginger and white pepper.
