Sam Smith Announces Album Release & US Tour Dates

Vocalist Sam Smith announced an album release paired with a North American tour late last night. He was named best new artist, "In The Lonely Hour" was named best pop vocal album, and the single "Stay With Me" won awards for both record and song of the year. Furthermore, general public tickets become available on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Instead, his site invites fans to sign up for more information.

As well as the new album, Smith also announced that a tour is incoming, but so far there are no details. The gospel-inspired track, bolstered by a textbook but understated Timbaland beat, finds Smith fronting a choir as he sings about searching for hope in desperate times.

The 25-year-old Smith is now promoting the first single, Too Good at Goodbyes, from his much-anticipated sophomore album, The Thrill of it All, which arrives on Friday, November 3.
