If the event is anything like past year, we can expect a brand new holiday-themed game mode, a bunch of spooky skins, sprays, voice lines, and icons to collect and of course, some Halloween decorations to spice up the current maps.
Some new skins from Overwatch's upcoming Halloween Terror event have seemingly leaked. However in separate posts on Reddit, Redditors PfeiferWolf and Mnemosynaut have discovered several ads on Facebook that might have revealed additional skins for characters such as Mei, Symmetra, and Zenyatta.
Zenyatta's skin features a purple theme, but the highlight is that his face looks like a squid, leading many to believe it is a Cthulhu skin. With the spookiest time of the year approaching, Blizzard has announced that their Halloween themed event will be returning for a second time. If you'd rather avoid spoilers then we guess you should avoid clicking on those links until the official announcement, which based on Blizzard's tweet is set for the 10th of October.
As for brand new Legendary Skins being introduced through the Halloween Terror 2017 event, we've managed to glimpse a couple of the brand new Overwatch Legendary skins through a couple of leaked images, all of which you can see just below.More news: Will fund DMRC 50% if Centre does so: Kejriwal
Mei is dressed up as a jiangshi, the infamous Chinese hopping vampire, and so looks a lot like Hsien-ko from Darkstalkers.
One character left out of these new leaks is McCree, who we can tell from the image in the header, is getting some sort of treatment, as his mechanical hand is clearly made some glowing material, maybe lava-like?
Of course, there is a chance that these might be fake as well but we hope they are not.
