The upcoming premiere will be the 100th episode of the popular show.
From the day Fear the Walking Dead was announced, fans of the zombie franchise have been asking when the survivors featured on the two shows would cross paths. The prospect of a crossover is tantalizing, especially considering Kirkman's comments at San Diego Comic Con in July when he pointed out that "Fear the Walking Dead takes place roughly around the time of season 1 and beginning of season 2 in The Walking Dead". That possibility isn't farfetched The Walking Dead co-creator-Robert Kirkman-was glad he could confirm the new to the fans that packed out Madison Square Garden. Per the usual Robert Kirkman, though, he wouldn't divulge any more details than that, other than to say that it'd be a huge moment for the series. Or are we going to see a Fear The Walking Dead character appear in the future in The Walking Dead?
The crossover gained even more traction when a tweet appeared on "The Walking Dead" page with an image of the two shows' logos and the words "The worlds collide". "We want these shows to have their own legs and have their own stories and be their own", Kirkman told said when making the announcement.More news: Baltimore Ravens vs. Oakland Raiders Preview and Prediction

Fans may love to see fiery Clementine replace the lackluster Edith as Carl's new girlfriend, but Kirkman has reaffirmed that it just won't be happening.
