Mark Richt Told Miami's Players To 'Get Your Asses' Off FSU's Logo

With six seconds left in the game, Miami junior receiver Darrell Langham scored the game-winning touchdown on a 23 yard pass from Malik Rosier. It was Langham's only catch in the game, and he couldn't have asked for a bigger one. The Miami Hurricanes are quietly sneaking up the AP rankings and look capable of challenging any team in the country after moving to 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

He now has a touchdown catch in each of his first four games this season. Michael Badgley's 31-yard field goal on the opening drive of the second half tied it, and Rosier connected with Berrios for a 21-yard touchdown.

On first offensive play of the second half for FSU, highly scrutinized UM cornerback Dee Delaney intercepts Blackman.

"He's just great, man".

Who knows? Who cares?

Florida State freshman quarterback James Blackman played better in the second half as well. "This was for all the guys (before us) that didn't win".

Miami Hurricanes head coach leaves the field before halftime during the Florida State Seminoles games against the Miami Hurricanes.

The win snaps Miami's seven-game losing streak vs. Florida State and drops the preseason top-five Seminoles to 1-3.

"We're proud of the way he bounced back after his early mistakes", Fisher said. "But that was a great game between two great teams and two rivals". But at the same time, there's no reason to hang your head after that football game. They made one more. "They'd punch, we'd punch back". "I'm probably most happy for them". When it began, Miami held a 10-3 lead.

Then Florida State took the lead on the Blackman-to-Tate score.

If you watched all of Miami-Florida State, congratulations.

Florida State fared much better on the ground, getting 121 yards on twelve carries from freshman tailback Cam Akers. The first-quarter drive appeared to stall at midfield, but Miami was called for roughing the passer. Seminoles defensive back Stanford Samuels gets the pick. Past year had a blocked extra point with less than two minutes to play, and Saturday we saw back-to-back touchdown drives in crunch time from two quarterbacks with less than 10 combined career starts in a game that, to that point, was being dominated by the two defenses.

Rosier, who came into the game leading the Atlantic Coast Conference in passing efficiency, had a rough start as he completed only four of his first 16 passes. He hit 4 of 5 passes on third down in the third quarter, along with a 21-yard touchdown pass to Braxton Berrios with 6:57 in the third. He added a 6-yard score to put Miami up 17-13 with 5:09 left.

"We're very disappointed. We feel like we should've won the game", said Seminoles linebacker Matthew Thomas, who is a native of Miami.

Alabama (6-0, 3-0) had rolled past Vanderbilt and MS by a combined scored of 125-3 over the last two weeks, but got much more of a test from the young Aggies. "There's no doubt. But we will play".

NOTES: Saturday's attendance was 78,169. Mark Richt becomes the first Miami coach to beat FSU since Randy Shannon. Walker was able to attend the game because his National Football League team, the Denver Broncos, are on a bye this week. Dickerson and Minshew returned to the game, but it was unclear whether they'd play against the Hurricanes. Florida State starting receiver and kicker returner Keith Gavin injured his right leg after the Hurricanes' first touchdown on a return and did not come back.
