Instagram Stories is one of the most popular features of the app - ever since it was launched - and corroborating with earlier reports, users will now be able to cross-post their Instagram Stories on Facebook.

As TechCrunch first reported, Facebook tested this feature in Portugal last month and is now rolling it out for everyone. The company is now officially enabling cross-posting of Stories from Instagram to Facebook. One still can not post Facebook Stories on Instagram Stories, unless Facebook brings in that feature too. "We are always working to make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you", a Facebook spokesperson told the publication.
Facebook Stories were introduced globally in March 2017 after testing the feature in Ireland.

The only exception is businesses as they now do not have access to Facebook stories.
Facebook's new update will definitely attract more users in using Facebook Stories, and might have just given us a glimpse of its future plans of platform integration.
You will then see an option that allows you to switch on the "Shre your story to Instagram" option. This increasing interoperability between Facebook and Instagram may worry those at Snapchat, as user growth has been dropping over the last few months.
