The Money Man, still enjoying the afterglow of his victory over Conor McGregor in Las Vegas in August, enjoyed an evening at Warwick nightclub in Los Angeles but had plenty to say as he left the venue.
The UFC can not put millions of dollars on promoting a fighter that may not show up the night of the fight.
"Blessed" would not protest if given the chance to welcome the former featherweight champion back to the division, however.
So that brought everyone back to the question: what's next for McGregor?
Kevin Lee: "I'm happy they're fighting". I want Diaz 3, Paddy's Day in NY'.
"Like I said I'm going to put him into training, sport, fighting. I just want to see them compete", declared McGregor.
"Too many of them [lightweights] pull out right at the wire and we're still not at this fight yet, so I'm just going to pray that this one goes ahead".
"Of course, the Nate Diaz trilogy fight is there".
Leaving all the doors open, McGregor also wouldn't rule out his sometimes-discussed match-up with longtime former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, who will return to action after almost four years off when he fights current UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping for the title in the main event of November 4's UFC 217 from New York City.
"Nathan is there", said McGregor.
Nathan is there. He's trying to come in here and make all of these demands.
"An option; there's an interim belt on the line right now - that's an option", McGregor said.More news: Manchester soars as London records real house price falls
He then led the crowd in a call and response of "Glasgow's Green and White' a popular chant amongst Celtic fans, although there were some who voiced their displeasure in the crowd".
This provides a slight amount of hope for Ferguson and Lee, with the victor originally expected to be next in line for McGregor's title until UFC president Dana White admitted he wasn't sure if that would be the case.
"We could either do a rematch in boxing, or like he said originally, we'll do an MMA fight next".
McGregor also raised the prospect of fighting Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov in Russia, in what would be a real MMA super-bout. "We'll see what the energy is like".
Diaz has stated he wants eight-figures to fight McGregor, something unheard of in the UFC.
McGregor, 29, has been on a whirlwind tour since he won his first UFC title - the world featherweight championship - with a stunning 13-second knockout over long-reigning champion José Aldo in December 2015.
As for the fights outside of the interim title picture, McGregor is keeping an eye on the upcoming fight between a former and fan favorite rising up the ranks.
Look, I've got the UFC title to defend and that means something to me.
Eddie Alvarez: "Eddie could come back".
"It's another money fight, even though [St-Pierre] been retired", he said.
However, though it could be one of the most lucrative options for him, a fight that McGregor doesn't seem to think will happen is against pound-for-pound great Georges St-Pierre, despite the Canadian star apparently being interested in the possibility if he defeats middleweight champion Michael Bisping in November.
The MMA community is now anticipating just what Conor McGregor's next move will be.
