Google is tapping LG for manufacturing of the Pixel 2 XL (HTC is reportedly handling those duties on the smaller Pixel 2). The Pixel 2 XL has leaked, however, with pictures of both a black and a white color option, and the Pixel 2 XL name is apparently going to be the official one, too, according to a new report from Droid Life. That'll be joined by Just Black, and Clearly White.
We'll find out for sure on October 4 when Google hosts its autumn event. It comes packed with Google Assistant which can take care of many things for you. Overall, the design of the smartphone adheres very closely to what we saw with the Pixel and Pixel XL.

If that wasn't enough, Google doesn't seem to be content with taking on the Amazon Echo, so it has developed the Google Home Mini. Just like the original Home, the new Home Mini will be available in multiple different colors: Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral.
Credit: DroidLifeOn the virtual reality front, Google's giving the new Daydream View a bit of a makeover, based on DroidLife's report. That's $80 more than last year's Pixel XL, although you do get twice the storage in the base model. However, we are learning that the new Daydream View headset that will receive a bump in price to $100 (compared to the $80 that its predecessor was launched at). There's also no touch surface, so you may not be able to quiet the device with a tap of your finger, as you can with the current Google Home speaker.
