Ryan Shazier fined almost $25K for illegal hit on DeShone Kizer

Such an expectation wasn't fair, let alone reasonable.

The Ravens shut out an AFC North rival of their own last week in the Cincinnati Bengals to open up their season, and put on a defensive masterpiece to start the year.

The Cleveland Browns are a team in the National Football League that has been desperate to find a franchise quarterback for many years. Jackson mentored quarterback Andy Dalton, who appears to have regressed without him.

Shazier was given a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty.

Gregg Williams' defense looked transformed as they forced three three-and-outs, picked off a pass and limited the Steelers to just 2 scoring drives while Kizer showed promise despite a less than flawless debut. Lewis rushed for 295 yards, just part of his prolific season in which he went over 2,000 yards on the ground.

Thankfully, the Browns present a good opportunity for Joe to get his form back.

The Colts await in Indianapolis next weekend and it's likely they won't have Andrew Luck at quarterback meaning Williams' defense should be able to feast again. And, as shocking as it might sound, that they also have the better offense between the two.

This coming Sunday, the Cleveland Browns will be facing-off against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland with kickoff at 1:00 PM EST sharp. Kizer was OK after the play, finishing the game 20-of-30 for 222 yards with one touchdown and one interception in Cleveland's 21-18 loss.
