After a long quiet period which led to a lot of worry about the future of Yu Mobiles, the Micromax subsidiary returned with a bang earlier this summer with the impressive Yu Yureka Black. Further, the phone is backed by a 3930mAh battery with Qualcomm 3.0 Quick charge support. Apart from the similar internals, it doesn't get more obvious that Yu is attempting to undercut Xiaomi and reign in their dominance with the Yu Yureka 2 priced cheaper than the Redmi Note 4 at Rs 11,999 (~$185). YU now sells YU Yunique 2, YU Yureka Black and YU Yunicorn in the country at Rs 5,999, Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively. For selfie lovers, the smartphone packs a decent 8MP camera. Priced at Rs 11,999, the smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart during the Big Billion Sale from September 20 onwards.
YU Yureka 2 runs on Android 6 Marshmallow, it will be updated to Android 7 Nougat soon.

As for the optics, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and micro USB port. The handset also ships with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader which is slotted below the camera module.
