Okami HD Receives First Gorgeous 4K Screenshots, Trailer; Western Release Date Confirmed


Okami HD launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 12th.

The recently revealed Okami HD restoration is slated to arrive in the west on PS4, Xbox One, and PC 12th December, Capcom has announced.

This December, we are delighted to bring you one of the most attractive and heart-warming action adventure games you will ever play: Okami HD, now with updated visuals that take advantage of modern high resolutions. Okami HD will be launching physically and digitally across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Okami is a game that released over a decade ago and was available through PS2, PS3 and Wii.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. It even includes the mini-game within the loading screen, which allows you to garner additional demon fangs to trade for in-game items.

Information from this week's Weekly Famitsu magazine indicates that Capcom has indeed confirmed that they are going to make a new Okami HD re-release.

Those of you who like to live in nostalgia can opt to play the game in its original 4:3 aspect ratio, which is nice, I guess. The graphic style is inspired by traditional Japanese art. Using the brush, you can slice enemies asunder, and return the land of Nippon to its former colourful glory.

The game - which has players controlling the goddess Amaterasu in wolf form, and literally painting life back into the world - is regarded as a modern classic.
