At Saturday's performance of her "Piece of Me" residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Brit clapped back at lip-syncing accusations and lived up to the title of Godney with a stripped-down performance of Bonnie Raitt's 1991 hit "Something to Talk About".

In addition to all the classics, Spears busted out a surprise rendition of Bonnie Raitt's "Something to Talk About", and she sounded awesome. But, I have never really spoken about, you know?' she said addressing the crowd. "Basically, the press and the media my whole life....it's really insane because one minute they tear you down, and that's really terrible, and then the next minute you're on top of the world".

"I'm a Southern girl".

Though she has not come out speaking aboutthe scary experiencefrom August 9, the incident left Spearsstartledafter a fan rushed the stage during her "Piece of Me" Vegas residency show. "So I just wanna make sure I keep giving the motherf**kers something to talk about, OK?"

Spears has gotten some flak over the last three years about whether she lip syncs or sings during her residency, and the answer is a little bit of both - she sings as much as she can, but during intense dance sequences, she has a track playing.

Spears concluded her Britney: Live in Concert world tour July 3 in Tel Aviv.

"It really [expletive] me off because I'm busting my [expletive] out there and singing at the same time, and nobody ever really gives me credit for it", she said.
