The premium cabler is now grappling with yet another leaked episode of Game of Thrones.
A third-party vendor uploaded the episode by mistake, and it was taken down after an hour, BuzzFeed reported. HBO, the company behind the hit series, has taken action against those leaking, posting and streaming the episodes. However, with the modern technology nowadays, the aired new episode was immediately duplicated in full, high-quality version and it spread like wildfire throughout the internet. The publication reports that the error apparently was made by HBO Spain, with the episode being made available to Spanish subscribers four days early. That time around, the leak was also the result of a screwup from a distribution partner - that time, Star India was responsible.
Indian police have detained the four suspects, but said their motive for leaking the episode titled, "The Spoils of War", was unclear.
