Two people have been seriously injured after a light plane crashed upon landing at Caloundra Airport on the Sunshine Coast.

Two people were trapped initially with firefighters managing to free one about 12.15pm.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service confirmed one person was freed from the plane after the crash while crews worked to free the second person trapped.More news: In phone call, Trump assures Guam of safety - and fame
The woman and another man in the plane were both taken to a Toledo hospital and are in serious condition. "It's pretty remarkable that somebody could make it all the way back out here", said Lenawee County Undersheriff Troy Bevier.
The other trapped passenger had "significant lower limb injuries". A man and woman who escaped the wreckage suffered only minor injuries.
He says the cause of the crash wasn't immediately known and the Federal Aviation Administration is sending investigators to the crash site.
