Ben Affleck says Justice League reshoots aren't cause for concern

The film is still a unique set up as it has two directors, something not very common in the ever changing world of Hollywood and could be something fans notice.

The more the merrier, it seems, when it comes to directing "Justice League". Now, with Joss Whedon taking the reins and WB's superhero film slate in flux, that no longer appears to be the case.

But it sounds as though the entire "Justice League" movie was setting that up. "We got really lucky that he stepped in", he told Entertainment Weekly. As the DCEU attempts to move away from the grim and gritty aesthetic of Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and closer to the earnest, optimistic worldview of Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, bringing in Whedon to lighten Justice League's tone made a tremendous amount of sense.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. And the original ending of the movie from what I understand was, he was kind of playing the Silver Surfer role, with Darkseid playing the Galactus role, and the ending of the movie was a cliffhanger and Justice League 2 was going to be Justice League vs Darkseid, Ya know, Darkseid arrives at Earth.

"Well, the stuff that I had to do were just really small little bits and pieces, nothing necessarily having to do with tone", Morton said. "They did a reshoot with Robin Wright from "Wonder Woman" to setup a flashback explaining who Steppenwolf is, and Steppenwolf is now the big bad of this movie, whereas Darkseid was this looming threat that won't now come, I don't think". They're hitting their stride. "They beckon, they are doing things correctly, and it starts to give really the impression that it's going to work". We'll have to wait and see, but there certainly is a lot of conflicting information regarding Justice League.
