RCom plans to issue shares to lenders in lieu of debt

RCom in a tweet said, "Reliance Mobile introduces the lowest rates ever!" The latest rental plan can be assumed to be a way to counter other big guns like Airtel, Vodafone, and Jio.

Under this new rental plan, RCom will offer unlimited calls, data and text messages. The company is led by Anil Ambani and recently reported a loss of Rs 948 crore for the Q4, 2017, mainly due to the free calls and data provided by Jio.

Reliance Jio has taken the telecom market by storm with its disruptive tariff plans that have forced its competitors to undergo a major overhaul in their pricing strategy. RCom users can go to Eshop.com to avail the offer. The company also unveiled new prepaid and postpaid data plans starting at Rs 349 and Rs 399 respectively.

Currently, Reliance Jio is offering number of plans to its subscribers like Rs 399 plan in which you get unlimited calling and 1 GB data per day for 84 days and similarly Airtel has Rs 399 plan and the user gets unlimited calling and data for 84 days. The company had kept the price of the Wi-pod dongle at Rs 3,200, whose validity is 365 days.

Data war in India has become intense thanks to the entry of Reliance Jio. However, there is still no word on the validity period, daily FUP limits for data and other details regarding the supported voice calls (local or STD or both). Vodafone's First Recharge Coupon (FRC) plan at Rs 244 offers 70 GB data for customers at 1GB data per day, unlimited local and STD calls within Vodafone network.

This new deal comprises a bundle offer by RCom - that includes a Reliance 4G data card and a Reliance 4G SIM.

At present, Dhan Dhan is being offered by Reliance Jio for Rs 399. Earlier, RCom Merged its wireless business with Aircel while it has received 99.99% shareholders. All the other telecom operators also released their own unlimited and data plans after the Jio Effect. The company also put out a link to buy the plan accompanied by a promotional picture.
