Maxine Waters: Pence should be impeached after Trump

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said Friday on "The View" that she is not concerned about leaks of sensitive information from the White House.

When Waters claimed that this showed that people in the White House don't believe in the president and that Mexico was actually happy the transcript of the call came out, co-host Jedediah Bila countered that if this can happen to Trump, it means it can happen to another president.

"I am not running for anything except the impeachment of Trump", Waters said.

"No", replied Waters. "And when we finish with Trump we have to go and get Putin".

The interview on "The View" was Waters' second TV appearance of the day.

Taking a dramatic pause, Waters denied the rumors and said that they were just that-rumors. She believes special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the Department of Justice's Russian Federation investigation, will find evidence of collusion between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign.

In the past, she likened Trump to a "dictator" and even floated a theory that Vice President Mike Pence is planning to take the president's place. "As a matter of fact, I have said over and over again, I think he's the most deplorable person I've ever met in my life". "I am so glad they're telling us what's going on", she said, adding, "I need to hear these conversations".

"Let me tell you, the leadership starts at the top and it is this president that his own people have no confidence in", she responded.

"Trump was just so outrageous, so disrespectful, such a bully and unsafe for this country, I decided, 'You know what?"

Waters is a representative of California's 43rd congressional district and previously served the state's 35th and 29th districts.
