Meizu, a large Chinese electronics manufacturer, has announced the date for the launch event for the upcoming Pro 7 phone - July 26 is the day that we'll see if the rumors surrounding the upcoming phone (s) are true. It is speculated to launch alongside the Meizu PRO 7 Plus. Jeffrey has also posted some images, which we don't know are taken by the Pro 7 or not. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat-based Flyme OS. It will be driven by MediaTek Helio X30 chipset that features a deca-core processor. It will be backed up by a 3000mAh/3500mAh battery with Meizu's mCharge fast charge technology. The Meizu Pro 7 will have a secondary color screen at the backside beneath the two cameras. From the looks of the image above, sent to us courtesy of Meizu, some might indeed be valid.
According to, the 7 Pro will feature a tall LCD display that can display certain games, possibly aid in lining up the flawless selfie from its rear dual-cameras, as well as showing pertinent notification info in a more discrete manner than the front screen can handle. The secondary screen supports multiple functions such as it can work as a view finder for the dual cameras, for displaying notifications, playing games, and it can even work when the smartphone is turned off. Also, the network appeared the Meizu packing Pro 7, which is made in minimalist style and is somewhat reminiscent of the box from Samsung S8. The front-facing camera of the PRO 7 will be of 16-memgapixel. On the connectivity front, both the smartphones will offer all the usual Wi-Fi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
