Xiaomi is now rumored to launch a new sub-brand this month. Originally, the device was rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 660, however this does not seem to be the case anymore, keeping in mind that a leaked poster which appears to be promotional material for the phone is still not a confirmation, so the specs could be different once the phone is announced officially. The smartphone which we previously reported as Xiaomi X1 under the Lanmi brand but after this new report, the first smartphone is going to be Xiaomi 5X. There were lots of rumors about Xiaomi's latest smartphone recently.
As per the leak, Xiaomi Mi 5X will be equipped with 5.5-inches Full HD display with 1080 pixels resolution. It will come with MIUI 9 adds the report, and says the launch should take place on July 26.
This report by GizmoChina also states that a clearer poster of the new Xiaomi device, the one you see just below, shows off a much clearer image of the 5X. A leaked press render of the 5X claims the smartphone will boast of a dual-camera setup.
While there is no detail about the pricing of the high-end variant, the low-end variant of Xiaomi 5X will be carrying a price tag of 1,999 Yuan (Approx Rs. 19,000). We have seen a couple of leaks on the Redmi 5 smartphone with some specifications of the phone.

The Xiaomi 5X is expected to feature a thin metallic body and it is expected to arrive in color choices like gold and black. Also, there will be a 16MP selfie camera. Reportedly, the sub-brand is being created with strong focus on offline sales.
More leaks suggest that the Mi 5X will have dual OmniVision sensors, the OV12A10 OmniVision sensor + OV13880 OmniVision sensor, along with a front facing 5MP camera with a S5K5E8 sensor.
