Woman's body found in buck's party hotel room

Four men are in police custody after a woman's body was discovered inside serviced apartments in central Melbourne.

Four men, all aged in their late 20s to early 30s from the ACT and NSW, are now in custody assisting with the investigation.

They would not say who the deceased woman was or how they met her.

The group of men had travelled from the NSW and ACT for the party. Another witness told the paper she saw one of the men being led from the building in handcuffs by Police but was not resisting.

The group of men were believed to have attended the Geelong-Hawthorn game on Saturday evening, before attending Inflation Nightclub's Cloud Nine until 3am Sunday morning.

Victoria Police said homicide squad detectives are treating the woman's death as suspicious.

Police have released details of what the woman was wearing in hopes someone will be able to identify her: a black long-sleeve shirt, blue denim shorts and white sneakers.
