Tonight will be mostly clear before becoming cloudy. North wind 3 to 5 miles per hour. Tiny afternoon/evening rain chance.

Other thunderstorm systems expected to hit the Midwest later this week also have a chance of making it to the Atlantic, according to the AccuWeather report.

As the Sacramento valley sees highs in the 100s, Reno in the 90s, South Lake Tahoe will have a week of highs 78-85. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 10 miles per hour in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

The chance for rain will continue into the beginning of the workweek.
