Nearly three decades have passed since Scott's original film hit theaters and the upcoming movie follows the story in relative real-time (30 years later), thereby allowing Harrison Ford to reprise his role as Rick Deckard. When he says "we were being hunted", it could either be referring to the other replicants or a red herring to makes viewers think that. The third full-length trailer will release tomorrow (July 17) on ABC's Good Morning America at 7 am ET. If I wasn't excited before to see Denis Villeneuve take on the classic sci-fi property, I am over the moon for it now.
Blade Runner 2049 raises a whole heap of questions this October 6th. Still, given just how much people adore the original film, the filmmaker has already made his peace with potentially failing. According to one of the cast members, though, Blade Runner 2049 will be even better than Scott's original touchstone work. Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, Mackenzie Davis, Jared Leto, Edward James Olmos, Carla Juri, and Barkhad Abdi also star. The second trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has arrived, and it shows us more of the first meeting between Deckard and Ryan Gosling's LAPD Officer K. Despite their initial conflict, Deckard drops a very intriguing piece of information: "I covered my tracks, scrambled the records..."
