In terms of specifications, P55 Max features 5.5-inch HD resolution IPS display, and it comes with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz, though Panasonic has not specified which processor they are using. The internal storage capacity is 16GB and the same can be expanded further up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The P55 Max is priced at Rs 8,499 ($132), slightly cheaper than another similar spec'd phone that released in the country. It is powered by Android™ 7.0 (Nougat) OS which helps you multitask and handle multiple languages and apps simultaneously.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head - Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, "In today's connected world, smartphones have become the lifeline drawing parallels amongst work-life balance". Even though the Panasonic P55 Max is backed by a massive battery, yet is light weight at 180 gm.

Another highlight of the device is that it comes with a 13MP rear camera with Quad LED flash, a rarity in the price range.
If you don't care enough for the fingerprint sensor and would like to save a few thousand rupees, then you could choose the Panasonic P55 Max over the Moto E4 Plus. At front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel shooter for taking selfies. It also supports 4G VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.0.
The smartphone will be available on Flipkart from July 17.
The phone is available in black and gold color options. The phone offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and Global Positioning System connectivity. The long lasting 5000mAh battery further ensures the seamless functioning without interruptions.
